Bill McCartney has forty-eight years of experience in the HVAC&R industry and holds a Trade Certificate as a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic. Started working in Toronto at Beaver Engineering (1966), was moved to London (1974) went into business in Sarnia (1978), and returned to Toronto for partnership in Isotherm Engineering (1997). An ASHRAE Life Member joining in 1974, served on many Technical committees, chaired the Handbook committee, Hamilton Chapter President 2004-06, Distinguished Service Award, Regional Award of Merit, Chapter Service Award.

ASHRAE certification as Commissioning Process Management Professional (CPMP) in 2009.

BCA Certified Commissioning Professional (CCP) in 2012

He is founding Board Member for the Eastern Canada Chapter of Building Commissioning Association and serves on the International Board as a Director at Large/Treasurer.
